Image from Hespress.comAn agreement of partnership and collaboration was signed between the Federation of Cinema and Audiovisual Professionals in the Moroccan Sahara and the Artistic Director of the “London Art House Film Festival,” aiming to develop Sahrawi cinema.

The agreement was signed by Said Zribia, the president of the Federation of Cinema Professionals in the Sahara, and Kauthar Tazrouti, the international coordinator of the “London Art House Film Festival.”

The terms of this agreement aim to coordinate efforts between the two parties by contributing to the development of Sahrawi cinema.

This includes organizing film training sessions between the cities of London and Laayoune, studying ways to market the Moroccan Sahara region in global cinema, and establishing a working plan for accessing new funding opportunities for foreign films. Additionally, there is a commitment to showcasing Hassani culture as the guest of honor at the upcoming fifth edition of the “London Art House Film Festival” in July.
